Rotan ISD

Mrs. Larson's High School Chemistry students conducted a flame test lab to indicate the presence of a metal ion in a compound. The students have been learning about electrons and the electromagnetic spectrum. They will be applying that knowledge to identify certain elements based on the electron's excitability and light emission.
