Rotan ISD Community,
There have been numerous changes to times, dates, and locations for our extracurricular events this year, mainly driven by official availability. The times may not be accurate based on the original schedule. As an example, this week's Varsity Football game was moved to Thursday, 9/19 due to officials. For the most up to date information, please follow the most recent posts, rather than referring to the originally posted schedules. Athletes and their families receive communication from coaches via SportsYou.

All, after further investigation, there were threats towards schools posted on social media. These threats referenced no particular schools, but have made the rounds on social media across the state. A student received a screenshot of the same threat. Similar threats were made across the state last week. At this time, there are no credible threats directed at Rotan ISD, but, as security and safety of our staff and students is of utmost importance, we will ensure all of our safety protocols are in place, and you may see an enhanced law enforcement presence around Rotan ISD.

Rotan ISD families,
This afternoon, administrators received a report of a social media screenshot containing pictures that are creating concerns for families. Fisher County authorities are investigating the post and there is no evidence the post is directed or related to Rotan ISD at this time. Please know that we take all reports seriously and we are working closely with local law enforcement to investigate and take appropriate action. We will provide updated information as it becomes available
